We're at the end of another week! Hope you're all geared up to enjoy the weekend, and either catch some shows, work on some tunes, or kick those feet up.

If you're maybe short of plans - don't forget about or weekend free BBQ and beer! Simply book a 1pm rehearsal for any Saturday or Sunday and you can cop a fresh snag and an ice cold Feral beer.

Apple Adds Concert Discovery to Maps App

Nifty feature incoming! Apple have recently rolled out a guides feature for it's streaming service anf also it's Maps app. These guides are accessible on Maps and allow fans to browse upcoming shows directly from the app through Shazam’s concert discovery module, providing concert information and tickets on sale for upcoming shows nearby. Apple Music’s Guides are now available only on the East Coast at the moment - hopefully Perth soon! You can read more about it here

Hottest 100 Like A Version of All Time!

Warm up those laptop's, it's time to get voting for your fav WA bands! Like A Version has a pretty rich 20 year history, with over 800 songs being covered so far - and now Triple J have opened voting for the top 100 of all time! Check out the list here and be sure to go back and slide in some of your fav bands, both new and old. There's covers from Sly Withers, Jebediah, Abbe May, Tired Lion, Gyroscope and countless others, so jump in and help represent!

Michael Gudinski Doco

Australian music legend Michael Gudinski had a major and lasting impact on Australian music, and this year you'll be able to catch an amazing doco on his life. The documentary is described as “the definitive account” of the late, great Mushroom Group founder’s “rock’n’ roll life”, providing a “rare look behind the curtain” of his seminal music company he built from the ground up. AI Music Podcast - Understand What's Going On!

Feels like every second day I'm hearing something new about AI and it's predicted impact on the arts. Well I was listening to one of my favourite podcasts, where they just dropped an episode breaking down the realities of AI generated music, and the current wave of AI hype. Is it much to be worried about? Maybe. Maybe not! You'll have to have a listen here
