Is the Queen Music Catalog for Sale?

We've seen it happen with Bob Dylan, Dr Dre, Justin Bieber and many more - and now it looks like the Queen music catalog might be up for sale! The initial stages of a sale process for the band’s catalog – combining both music publishing and recorded music rights – is underway, and a full acquisition could be completed by the end of this year. If the combined Queen rights sell, a price-tag in excess of USD $1 billion is projected, with multiple private equities as well as UMG bidding on the sale. You can read more here!
