Perth's Voyager Come 9th in Eurovision

Congrats to the Voyager gang for making it to the Eurovision Grand Final, and coming in at an amazing 9th place! Not only is this amazing for them, but such a great success for WA music and the heavy/progressive genre. This gang go way back with us, to the pre hen 'R'n'R' days! Always been huge supporters here at Hen. Make sure you check out their performance here, and catch their upcoming Aus tour!

WA Day Lineup Drops!

The WA Day festival is back for 2023. with another giant free 2-day festival at Burswood Park on June 4 & 5! Be sure to head down. You've got Amy Shark, Baby Animals, Mark Seymour & the Undertow plus a huge lineup of local talent yet to be announced, so stay tuned for more info and set times! For more info click here

Falls Cancels all 2023 Events

After suffering a number of blows over the past 4 years, the beloved Falls Festival have decided they won't be going ahead with this year, with organisers stating "This year we’ll take time off to enjoy the holiday period and allow some space to re-imagine how Falls will look in the future.” Bit of a bummer for all the festival fans - and also a blow to a festival that helps bring in amazing international artists and also support local acts! The Boy Band Con - The Lou Pearlman Story

If you're looking for an interesting doco to fill a couple of hours, may I recommend this one! If you don't know who he is, Lou Pearlman was the mastermind behind the boyband explosion of the late 90's and early 2000's, producing acts like Nsync, Backstreet Boys and Take 5. After being taken to court multiple times for mismanagement of band funds, Pearlman was eventually embroiled in the largest Ponzi scheme in US history, going to jail in 2007 and dying in prison in 2016. A truly wild tale - check it out here!
