Splendour In The Grass is Back for 2023

Third time is the charm! With COVID impacting the 2021 lineup and last years 3 Day event turning into a 2 day mud party, Splendour In The Grass is going ahead hopefully problem free for 2023. A huge lineup this year, featuring a bunch of international artists - but most importantly some killer Aus bands! And as always, be sure to catch the ever so handsome Hen House staff member Jono tearing it up with Sly Withers! You can read more here

WinAmp Makes An Almighty Return

Some of you might remember the days of the classic desktop app WinAmp, using it to play virtually any type of music you had laying around on your parents computer. Well, it never really went away, and is now making a comeback into the new music market! The new mobile product will be able to stream podcasts and online radio stations, and later this year will integrate music streaming services, allowing music listeners to access their playlists through WinAmp. How To Demo Drums at Home or in a Rehearsal Room!

We all know the belts are getting a bit tighter and things are more expensive - so it's no better time than now to be taking recording and demoing your band in to your own hands! Maybe you want to set up in one of our rehearsal rooms, or maybe you have REALLY nice neighbours - either way, recording drums for a demo at home or DIY is super easy! Lewis Capaldi - How I'm Feeling Now (Netflix Doco)

A great watch for any music documentary nerds (like myself & Rob), this new Netflix doco focuses on the rise of pop singer Lewis Capaldi, and the writing process of his second album. A truely interesting watch, seeing the pressures of the industry, trying to follow up a number 1 album, and dealing with mental health - all while still being an extremely charming an interesting person. Check out the trailer here, i highly recommend!
