Fake Music Streams - How They Work
You may have noticed that increasingly high streaming numbers from bands or podcasts that have just released their first works are getting more common, a bit like when people used to buy Facebook interaction back in the day. Well, there are plenty of services out there which will 'boost your streaming numbers' via BotFarms and fake algorithms. And there's good reason you shouldn't do it! Sure it might feel like you're looking more popular to potential labels, and helps exposure all round - but read this article here to see why you're actually hurting your own bands algorithm and risking a band from streaming services!

Tips to Help With Spotify For Artists!
While we are on the topic of streaming, if you are a band, artist or podcaster, I'm sure you're using Spotify For Artists. A pretty handy app for working on your Spotify profile, it can also have a few hidden gems that might help you get a bit more out of the app! This article here will help you get the most out of it, so check it out and take your Spotify profile to the next level.

SXSW 2023 Wrapped Up
Another year down! SXSW in Austin just wrapped up last week, this years being the first to return to its original format since the pandemic. Aside from the usual of a huge number of bands playing and tastemakers attending, there were also some cool announcements along with some pretty interesting panels. From a keynote with now 92 year old William Shatner, Amplify partnering with LEGO, or how Infuencers and Creators are redefining brands - there plenty to catch up on if you click here!

Rig Rundown - Parkway Drive
A fun one for all the guitarists out there! If you grew up playing or listening to Aussie music from the early 2000s, you've probably heard of Parkway Drive, and might be a fan! Well check out this video here, where the guys take a deep dive into all their gear, from guitars, amps, pedals, all the nerdy stuff us guitarists love.
