New helpful QR code discs have landed in all rooms!

Spotify 'Showcase' Tool Launched

Spotify has just launched ‘Showcase’, a new paid-for promo tool that lets artists and their teams highlight new and catalog releases in-app on the platform’s mobile Home page. Now when you open up Spotify, artists that have paid for a showcase will now be feed directly to a users homepage. There's no word on what the fee is yet - however stats show a listener is 6 x more likely to check it out if it is marketed to their home page. Pretty interesting read if you want to check it out here!

Sound on Sound - The Change Makers

For all you producers and engineers out there! If you don't read Sound on Sound (you should), you may have missed this great front cover of some of the best engineers, producers and mixers coming out right now. We've even been lucky enough to have one of these legends, Anna Laverty, spend some time here recording at the studio! Check out the article here for some inspo!

WAMCON 2023

WAMCON is back for 2023, held this year at The Rechabite on Nov 16-18. This year you'll joined by Sub Pop Records CEO, Megan Jasper, Ta-ku, a multi-disciplinary artist from Perth, Australia, and local metal band Voyager - who just took over Eurovision! Check out the link here for info and tickets.
